If the police is coming to your door trying to "ask" you a few questions about something you might have done, the best thing to do is not let them in and tell them that any questions should be referred to your attorney. And then shut the door, UNLESS of course they have a valid search warrant, then you must let them in, but this does not obligate you to talk to them. (your 5th amendment right to remain silent, use it!) If the police are looking to ask you questions, it's time to contact my office. I will aggressively speak on your behalf and prevent the cops from ever trying to question you again. You may not think it's necessary to have an attorney when cops are just merely asking you questions and you believe your are not guilty of nothing. But beware, the most of the time they are gathering evidence to arrest you, and the most compelling evidence is YOUR statements. So contact me and I'll be YOUR shield agains the police.
